Color Me Jane (“Company”) values professionalism, preparation, and respect for scheduled time. This policy is designed to protect both the client and the integrity of our booking schedule.

By booking an appointment or enrolling in any service or membership program, you agree to the terms below.

1. Appointment Confirmation & Deposits

  • A valid payment method is required to secure all bookings.

  • Certain services may require a non-refundable deposit.

  • Appointments are not confirmed until payment authorization is complete via Square.

2. Cancellation Policy (Standard Sessions)

48-Hour Notice Required

Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance: No penalty.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before appointment: 50% of session fee charged.

  • Same-day cancellation: 100% of session fee charged.

3. No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in:

  • 100% of the scheduled session fee charged.

  • For membership clients: session forfeited.

Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

4. Late Arrivals

Clients arriving late:

  • Session time will not be extended.

  • Full session fee still applies.

  • Arrivals exceeding 20 minutes may be considered a no-show at our discretion.

5. Refund Policy

All services are consultative and time-based.

Therefore:

  • Completed sessions are non-refundable.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Digital strategy materials or custom planning documents are non-refundable once delivered.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once billing cycle begins.

6. Membership Cancellation

Membership programs may require a minimum commitment period.

  • Early cancellation may incur a termination fee.

  • Unused sessions do not roll over unless explicitly stated.

  • Membership benefits expire at the end of each billing cycle.

Failure to maintain payment may result in automatic cancellation.

7. Emergency Exceptions

Exceptions may be granted at the Company’s sole discretion in cases of:

  • Documented medical emergencies

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Verified unavoidable circumstances

Proof may be requested.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting the Company to resolve the issue may result in:

  • Immediate termination of services

  • Collection action

  • Restriction from future bookings

We encourage clients to communicate directly before disputing charges.

9. Corporate & Group Bookings

Corporate bookings may require:

  • Signed agreement

  • Non-refundable retainer

  • Custom cancellation terms

Details will be outlined in corporate contracts.

10. Policy Agreement

By booking through Square Appointments or enrolling in a program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
